Methodist Worship in Edale

Our Mission - “We the members of this church aim to provide and maintain a facility for people to worship, pray, and give thanks to God. To worship God is to love and care for the world and its people, to encourage other people to join in the faith, to help the sick and elderly.”

Edale Methodist chapel is within the Peak Methodist Circuit in the Sheffield district. There have been 6 services annually in recent years, but we have now increased this to 12, occurring on the last Sunday of each month at 3pm. We hold an additional Carols service each December.

Most of the services are taken by Ministers, but some are informal Songs of Praise services, and others, in collaboration with Edale Parish Church, take the form of walks and activities for families. Some are simple gatherings, organised by “local arrangement”(LA).

Everyone is very welcome to our services, whether local or visiting the valley. Please do stay for refreshments afterwards!

Circuit Minister: Rev. Julie Letts
